Norine Henrie, CSW
“Life can feel overwhelming when you are carrying too much, facing an unexpected change, or spending so much time caring for others that you have lost sight of your own needs. You may be struggling with anxiety or depression, grieving a loss, navigating changes in your health or relationships, caring for someone you love, or simply feeling stuck in a season of life you did not expect.”
About
As a Certified Social Worker (CSW), Norine works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship stress, health concerns, and significant life transitions. She has a particular interest in supporting caregivers, including those caring for an aging
parent, spouse, child, or other loved one.
Norine’s experience includes working with individuals and families facing caregiving, aging, chronic illness, grief, and major life changes. She earned her Master of Social Work degree and completed graduate internships with the Office of Aging in Orem and a home health and hospice
organization in Murray.
Her approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. Norine creates a supportive space where clients can better understand what they are experiencing, recognize their strengths, and develop practical tools to manage challenges
and move forward.
She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches. Therapy may focus on managing difficult emotions, developing healthy boundaries, strengthening relationships, navigating grief and change, and finding greater balance and purpose.
Norine understands that those who spend so much time caring for others often need support themselves. Whether facing the demands of caregiving, a difficult transition, emotional struggles, or simply feeling overwhelmed, she helps clients build resilience, connection, balance, and hope.
