About

Candise received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Her rich life experiences led her into the field of mental health. She is passionate about her work and has been working in the field of mental health for over 15 years, ranging from programs in residential in-patient treatment, school-based programs, and outpatient.

 She specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, Autism, OCD, ADHD, divorce, spirituality and addiction issues. She is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Cognitive Processing Therapy to help clients process their negative emotions and thoughts caused by PTSD and traumatic events. Candise therapeutic approach uses modalities based on the unique and specific needs of her clients. She believes each client deserves to be heard, valued, and empowered to make changes in life. 

When Candise is not serving her clients, she enjoys the outdoors (camping, kayaking, and fishing),  crafts (woodworking) and sports (basketball). 

Modalities: Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Resolution Processing, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
